Primary Duties Include:
- Fiscal Management of Agency
- Oversight of $375,000.00 annual budget
- Process monthly invoices and reconcile all agency expenses
- Maintain accurate financial records / paperwork as required by state, funders, and/or other necessary statutory regulations
- Provide monthly budget report to Board of Directors and inform Executive Board of any outstanding issues or needs that require immediate attention.
- Funding Management of Agency
- Serve as grant writer, completing any necessary contract applications or reapplications
- Internal monitoring of all funding to ensure compliance with funding agency
- Identify revenue resources, including fundraising opportunities
- Audit / report preparation for funding sources as requested /required
- Administrative / Organization Management
- Supervision of three (3) full-time case managers, two (2) part-time client advocates, and one (1) part-time PrEP Navigator
- Prepare / maintain / process payroll for staff
- Responsible for day to day operations of office, including appropriate resource management
- Ensure organization is appropriately staffed based on available funding and workload.
- Social Services
- Serve as client / consumer advocate and assist with case management
- Provide testing / counseling as needed
- Serve as agency contact for consumer financial assistance
- Liaison to Community
- Maintain / develop relationships with other non-profit agencies and provide representation when requested/needed.
- Provide education to community organizations as requested
- Serve as consumer advocate for rural to extreme-rural communities
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Some travel within 12-county service area (Bedford, Coffee, Giles, Hickman, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Marshall, Maury, Moore, Perry, and Wayne)
- Coordination of annual fundraising event including planning, marketing, and required preparations.
- Coordination and communication of monthly Board of Directors meeting
Position Requirements:
- Must live within 30 miles of agency location
- Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to handle stressful situations with tact
- Ability to adapt in various situations by exercising judgement and adjusting to unexpected challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet and E-mail applications, experience with publishing/graphics programs, and basic office computing troubleshooting.
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively to meet responsibilities
- Previous supervisory or project management experience required
- Previous experience with fundraising / event planning preferred
- Previous experience with writing grants, contracts, and/or legal agreements required
